Tally Receives 2017 Adjuster or the Year Honors
Tuesday, October 10, 2017 Huron, SD - October 10, 2017 Curt Tally was recently nominated for the IIASD Adjuster of the Year by local insurance agent, Holly Rounds with Dakotaland Community Insurance of Huron. Mr. Tally was awarded the honor at the Independent Insurance Agents of South Dakota 2017 Annual Convention in Sioux Falls, SD on Monday, October 2nd for his work and dedication to the industry he serves.
The Adjuster of the Year Award was first granted in 2000 and was appropriately named the Thomas D. Masters Memorial Award. The honor is given to an adjuster who has worked to enhance the public’s perception of the independent agent and insurance industry through their work in the field. Tally has been described as someone who truly cares about the insured and works hard to fairly represent the agent and the insurance company. When asked about the nomination, Holly Rounds explained, “It is evident Curt enjoys what he does and our industry is better because of it”.
Tally grew up in the Forestburg community and came to work with Famers Mutual of Nebraska in 2000 as an Adjuster/Special Agent. Curt completed his CPCU in 2007, which confirmed his commitment to a growing knowledge of coverage. Curt and his wife, Laurel, have one son and now live in Mitchell, SD.
